After Ben Lippen, I went to Bryan College in Dayton , TN. I graduated in May of 1984 with a degree in Elementary Education. I got married in August of '84(John Garlow) and moved to Charleston, West Virginia. I taught school for five years and then opted to stay home with my children. I went back to school and completed my Masters in Special Education for the Gifted in '93. John and I have four children, John Robert-12, Katelyn-11, Jared-6, and Jacob-4. John works for GlaxoWellcome Pharmaceutical Company and was transferred to NC in Dec. of '97. We live in Clemmons, NC, which is just West of Winston-Salem. It is a beautiful area and we love living here. I am so happy to be back in my home state! :)"
