After BL, I went to Wheaton in pre-med and left after the first quarter. I missed Ben Lippen and my parents too much. I worked for a while and then kicked around Colombia with my folks for a while and eventually ended up at Trinity College majoring in History and English Literature. Then I married Michael Roach and went to work for Baxter International (fortune 100 medical supply company) for a few years. I started out in Human Resources for them and eventually transferred to a sales job and moved out to the west coast. While we were living in Seattle, my daughter, Rosslyn Carol Roach (now 7 years old) was born. We moved to California for a Marketing job for me and shortly thereafter, I left Baxter to go with Michael to Philadelphia and Paris for a graduate school program.

In 1994 we returned from Paris and Michael and I split up. Rosslyn and I went to live in Edmonton, Alberta near my parents and sister and had a lovely couple of years there. In November, 1996 I married a college friend of mine, Dion Williams and we moved out to Massachusetts to work together at the Kushi Institute in the Berkshires. While we were there, my son Mark Nicholas Williams was born. He'll be two years old in June.

We decided to move back here near Dion's family and have settled in to what is a small city with all the amenities (except much in the way of restaurants!) and few of the hassles of big city life. We bought an old house (1915) and Dion manages the employment side of a social services operation for developmentally disabled adults while I work at home on my computer and get to raise my kids.

As I look back over the last twenty years, I'm pleased enough with the progress I've made and with my accomplishments. I've added two husbands and two children to the inner circle of my life, and a few dear friends from college, but I'm interested to find that my high school friends remain one of my most valued treasures. It is more than time to get back in touch with you all and hear the stories of your journeys. I'm so glad for the technological advances that allow us to be intimately involved in each others lives even though we are spread over the globe. Can't wait to see you all in September! L.
